You can search thousands of journal articles.  This resource contains multiple databases of magazine articles featuring keyword and Boolean searches.  Access is available from home with a login and password provided by your school library.

The World Book Web is a suite of online research tools that includes encyclopedia articles, primary source collections, educator tools, student activities, pictures, audio, and video, complemented by current periodicals and related Web sites.

Use this resource for basic, historical information about your topic. This database contains a variety of electronic resources such as encyclopedia articles, a dictionary, an atlas, journals, magazines, and multimedia sources with a wide range of reading levels. Access is available from home with a login and password provided by your school library.

Discovering Collection contains several databases. Topics include: business, computers, current events, economics, education, environmental issues, health care, hobbies, humanities, law, literary criticisms, literature, art, politics, science, social science, sports, technology, and many general interest topics.  This database also contains millions of full-text articles with images.
